Keeping Tradition Alive

Somtimes in our lives, we follow traditions not just for the sake of doing them but to remind us of people who are no longer with us. Somehow we feel this brings us that much closer to the person that has passed and helps heal the soul.
Today I'd like to commemorate my godfather Jerry Edwards, Although I was only an infant when he passed, I like to think that his love for the outdoors lives in me. Many of the photos here on my blog are of him and have inspired this blog. You can't look at these pictures and tell me this guy didn't love to be outside!

Thank you Nino Jerry for giving us this gift, because  whenever we are sitting around a campfire, whenever we feel the wind on our face, or see a shooting star in the sky, we know you are present with us.
